Barcelona – new logo
When I carry something over from a clubs actual badge it would usually be an important object or creature but for Barcelona’s I see its unusual shape, a bulging shield with pointed sides, as the most memorable element.

Has the feel of Antoni Gaudi’s work which adds to it. Well done.
That’s exactly what i was going to say Sean! It is very Gaudi whose name is of course synonymous with the city of Barcelona. I love these logos and love this entire site that i just stumbled across when searching for Peter Crouch’s international goal scoring record 🙂 keep it all coming.
Absolutely brilliant. Immediately evokes images of the Sagrada Familia. I wish more clubs took this approach in designing their brand.
